In December, EV Zug's team manager Reto Kläy confirmed to the Luzerner Zeitung that Zangger would have to leave the Bulls. Soon after, Dino Kessler (Blick) announced that Zangger had signed a two-year contract with Lausanne. A report which was later confirmed by Zangger himself in the Luzerner Zeitung in mid-January.

As for Haller, he joined the Bulls in summer 2016 from EHC Winterthur. In total, he appeared in two games for the NLA team. Additionally, he also suited up for the EVZ Academy, posting a .905 save percentage in nine games. It remains to be seen where he will play in the upcoming season.

Furthermore, negotiations with Josh Holden, Carl Klingberg, assistant coach Waltteri Immonen, and head coach Harold Kreis are still ongoing. Reto Kläy also reiterates that they will have a roster spot available for the Columbus Blue Jackets' Calvin Thürkauf should the team decided to not let him play in the NHL right away.
