As the Tribune de Genève reports, Genève-Servette HC has signed HC La Chaux-de-Fonds’ Adam Hasani. At the same time, the Grenats are still looking for a new coach and import players.

Hasani played for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds last season. Now, after one season in the NLB, he will return to the National League A once again. Chris McSorley had already confirmed the transaction to the TdG in mid-January. With La Chaux-de-Fonds, the 27-year-old played 49 games and managed to score 46 points (13 goals and 33 assists).

Moreover, Genève-Servette HC is still looking for a new head coach. Citing a “close source,” the TdG writes that Willie Desjardins, former head coach of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks, will not be behind the Grenats’ bench next season. This rumor was initially reported by Le Matin in mid-April.

As for the import players, the same source once again confirms that GSHC has indeed signed Swedish defenseman Henrik Tömmernes. The Grenats, however, have yet to confirm this signing. Moreover, in contrast to earlier reports, Canadian forward Nick Spaling could also play another season in Geneva.

Furthermore, as already reported by the Tribune de Genève in October of 2016, the Arizona Coyotes’ Josh Jooris might, in fact, play for the Grenats next season. However, in February the Berner Zeitung wrote that SC Bern had also cast an eye on the 26-year-old forward, who has a Swiss license.
