Holden, who will turn 40 in January next year, is Zug's and the NLA's oldest import player and joined the Bulls already in 2008. He will stay with EVZ for one more year.

According to the newspaper, Holden will take on the role of a fifth import player, who could also suit up for EVZ Academy in the NLB. However, if he should receive the Swiss passport this winter, the situation could change. With Josh Holden, David McIntyre, Carl Klingberg, and Garret Roe, the Bulls have four import players under contract. As for the fifth spot, the NZZ writes that it will likely be filled by another forward.

Josh Holden has suited up in 472 games for EV Zug thus far, putting up 182 goals and 272 assists.
