"40 minutes later [after the birth of his daughter Vera] Arno del Curto called, saying he heard that I had become a father and told me to come to Davos immediately," Nygren tells the Nya Wermlands-Tidingen and was not sure how HC Davos' coach managed to be up to date so quickly.
But, of course, he'll obey his new coach: "I'll fly on Tuesday morning, go home to Lisa and Vera [his wife and daughter] on Thursday and go down again on Sunday," Nygren says. "I will play the first game with Davos on August 26 against Växjö in the Champions Hockey League."
