Jeff Campbell and Claudio Cadonau will be out of SC Langenthal’s lineup for quite some time. To compensate for their absence, Eric Himelfarb will join SCL until further notice.

Campbell not only had a setback in the recovery from his knee injury but also fractured his foot on the same side in a game against EHC Winterthur on October 15. He will have to undergo surgery and will be out for at least three months.

Cadonau, for his part, sustained a knee injury in Sunday’s cup game against HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Further medical examinations are needed to determine the duration of his absence.

Himelfarb will replace Campbell in the lineup. He is set to join the team today. The 34-year-old has already played in the Swiss League this season, suiting up in four games for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds (two goals, three assists).
