Campbell not only had a setback in the recovery from his knee injury but also fractured his foot on the same side in a game against EHC Winterthur on October 15. He will have to undergo surgery and will be out for at least three months.
Cadonau, for his part, sustained a knee injury in Sunday’s cup game against HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Further medical examinations are needed to determine the duration of his absence.
Himelfarb will replace Campbell in the lineup. He is set to join the team today. The 34-year-old has already played in the Swiss League this season, suiting up in four games for HC La Chaux-de-Fonds (two goals, three assists).
