HC Thurgau wants to sign Sami El Assaoui, also Tobias Bucher an option?

"I hope that we will reach an agreement," Stefan Mair says in an interview with the Thurgauer Zeitung when asked about defenseman Sami El Assaoui. "It would be very positive for us." For now, El Assaoui's tryout with HCT will be extended. For the upcoming three games, the 26-year-old should remain at their disposal.

And what about a return of forward Tobias Bucher, who has dissolved his contract with EHC Visp recently? "We look at every option that can bring the club a step forward," Stefan Mair comments. Bucher, 28, already played for HC Thurgau's youth organization from 2001 to 2005.
