Augsburger played for Lausanne HC last season but was not offered a contract extension by the National League team. Since then, the 29-year-old has been on the lookout for a new employer.
Augsburger has been with HCC for a week and is expected to make his debut for them on Tuesday against the EVZ Academy. In 40 games for Lausanne last season, he scored three goals and two assists.
