"We intend to sign the best player available", head coach Serge Pelletier says. He and HCC's CEO Gérard Scheidegger have temporarily taken over the job of team manager after Christian Weber was let go. They are in no hurry to find a replacement for him.
At the same time, HC Fribourg-Gottéron is looking for short-term replacements due to absences caused by international tournaments. The Dragons have shown interest in HC La Chaux-de-Fonds forward Dominic Forget. HCC is hesitant to let him join them via B-license because he is their only import player at the moment.
