Curtis Hamilton receives tryout opportunity from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers

Curtis Hamilton will practice with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers for at least a week. The Swiss League team wants to gain an impression of the forward in order to decide whether or not to sign him.

The 26-year-old forward is a former Edmonton Oilers' draft pick and played four seasons for their AHL affiliate. In 2015, the Canadian came to Europe to play for HC Sparta Praha of the Czech League. Last season, Hamilton suited up for Liiga team SaiPa. In 43 games for them, he recorded 14 goals and 13 assists.
