Ness is, of course, a known commodity in Switzerland. The product of the ZSC Lions' organization left SC Bern in the middle of the 2016-17 season in order to join the Krefeld Pinguine. In 48 games for them this season, the 24-year-old forward has recorded two goals and eight assists.

Hüsler, for his part, will stay with the Lakers for another two years (until 2020). The 23-year-old forward has played almost his entire career with the Swiss League team. He has put up seven goals and four assists in 37 games this season.
