The Swiss League team has signed the 26-year-old netminder, who played one game with them via B-license during the Olympic Break, to a one-year contract until 2019.
Bays made his National League debut with Lausanne HC in the 2013-14 season. The following summer, he joined Genève-Servette HC as backup goalie for four straight years.
For the Grenats this season, Bays suited up in four regular season games (.914 %SVS) as well as two games in the playoff quarterfinal series against Bern (.871 %SVS).
