Fabio Haller, who joined HC Ambrì-Piotta at the end of January, will move to EHC Winterthur on a one-year contract and form the club's goaltender duo with Remo Oehninger next season. The 25-year-old is a known commodity in Winterthur, as he was already part of EHCW from 2014 to 2016.

In addition, EHC Winterthur has signed homegrown defenseman Sebastian Jonski to his first professional contract, valid until 2019. The 19-year-old played in 26 Swiss League games as well as 24 games with EHCW's Elite B team this season (four goals, twelve assists).

The club also announced that six Elite B players will participate in this summer's practice with the first team and be part of the 2018-19 extended roster. Those six players are: forwards Martin Busovsky, Levin Schneider, Colin Mettler, Claudio Forrer, Filip Sluka, and defender Joel Sigg.
