Swiss League

EHC Winterthur will start the 2018-19 season with two import players. They have agreed to terms with Canadian Anthony Nigro and American Tanner Sorenson.

Nigro is a centerman and last played for Asiago in the Alps Hockey League. He just won the Italian championship with his team, recording 72 points (29 goals) in 51 games. He has signed a one-year contract.

Sorenson played for Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk in the Russian Supreme Hockey League (VHL) last season, putting up 17 goals and 14 assists in 47 games. He, too, has agreed to a one-year deal.
