Defenseman Philippe Seydoux has supposedly agreed to a two-year deal with EHC Kloten, Klaus Zaugg writes on Watson.

The 33-year-old did not receive a contract extension from the SCL Tigers and is thus free to sign elsewhere. Apparently, he will now suit up for Kloten. According to earlier reports, SC Langenthal was also interested in the defenseman. Seydoux appeared in a total of 94 games for the Tigers, recording five goals and 13 assists.

Moreover, Kloten is still looking for a goaltender. Zaugg reported last week that Hollenstein was trying to acquire Dominic Nyffeler, who is still under contract with HC Ajoie. Zaugg now states that the team has rejected Kloten's offer by "blocking the deal with a six-digit transfer fee", but that "the final word has not been spoken yet".
