For the upcoming season, HC Thurgau has signed two American forwards, 26-year-old Kenny Ryan and 27-year-old Cody Wydo, to one-year contracts.

Both arrive from the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers, where they played together in the past season. With Thurgau, where they will replace Jaedon Descheneau and Cam Braes, who have left the club in direction of Germany and Czechia.

Over the course of his career, Kenny Ryan has appeared in 272 games in the AHL, in which he recorded 85 points (36 goals). Last season, he suited up nine times for the Wheeling Nailers in the ECHL and put up ten points (seven goals). Cody Wydo played a total of 53 games for the Nailers last season and recorded 56 points (26 goals).
