As Rockets head coach Jan Cadieux confirms in an interview with Ticinonline, Guidotti is taking part in the Rockets preparation for the new season. A return to the Rockets, for which Guidotti suited up last season, is currently not an option: "At the moment, he is not in our squad," Cadieux says. "Our roster is full."
Nevertheless, Guidotti received the chance to prepare with the team for the new season while he awaits any offers. Cadieux still leaves the door a little open for a possible return to the Rockets: "We'll see what happens in the future. In hockey, everything can change very quickly."
In the past season, the 22-year-old appeared in 46 games with the Rockets, in which he scored seven goals and added nine assists for a total of 16 points. For the playoffs, he then joined HC Ajoie (one goal, one assist in ten games).
