HC Ajoie and their assistant captain Kevin Ryser have agreed on a one-year contract extension through to the 2019-20 season.

The 31-year-old defenseman joined the Ajoulots from Red Ice Martigny in 2014 and has been able to put up 19 goals and 62 assists in a total of 241 games for them ever since.

This season so far, Ryser has appeared in 35 games for Ajoie (three goals, eleven assists) and one game on loan with HC Fribourg-Gottéron from Switzerland's highest league, the National League.
