According to Radio RFJ, David Aebischer will not suit up for HC Ajoie next season and has come to terms with another National League team. This would also mean that the defender and HC Fribourg-Gottéron have found a solution for the upcoming season. Aebischer would have had one year left on his deal with the Dragons.
Marc Camichel, Thomas Hofmann, Stefan Mäder, Stefan Müller, Lee Roberts, and Clément Stemer will also leave the team. Ueli Huber, on the other hand, will likely stay with HC Ajoie. According to Léchenne, their negotiations are well on track.
Léchenne will also have to look for two additional import players. While one spot will be filled by a forward, it is not yet clear whether the second spot will go to a forward or a defenseman. One thing is already clear, however, as Léchenne says: "Whoever comes to HC Ajoie will have the opportunity to play in the National League, but they will have to make financial efforts."
