Barbei has agreed to a one-year contract with EHC Winterthur. The 21-year-old forward was under contract with HC Ambrì-Piotta last season but mostly suited up for the HCB Ticino Rockets. In 44 regular-season games, he recorded two goals and nine assists.
Mischa Ramel, for his part, will be loaned to the Lions for the entire season. The 19-year-old forward is under contract with EHC Kloten and will now get the opportunity to gain some game experience with the Swiss League team.
