EHC Visp has announced the signing of Alessio Beglieri to a two-year deal. He joins them from the Mississauga Steelheads. For the coming season, the netminder is going to be licensed with both Visp and his former club EHC Biel. In the second half of his contract, the youngster will be a full member of the Swiss League team.

Beglieri spent his latter junior time in Biel's organization, even getting some experience as backup in the National League, before leaving for Canada last summer. As part of the Steelheads, the 19-year-old made 39 games. Since 2019, the netminder has been suiting up for Swiss junior national teams on multiple occasions.
