24-year-old Schmutz is no stranger in Ajoie, as he had already played with the team back in the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 season. Now, he will scratch the ice for HC Ajoie again as of next season.
Currently, the forward is in his third season with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and has scored eleven points (five goals and six assists) in 33 games this season thus far.
