EHC Winterthur is already negotiating with the two Swiss forwards and they might soon find an agreement. Canadian forward Alex Hutchings, on the other hand, has to be patient. Team manager Zeiter wants to keep him, but there are financial limits. Next season's budget of CHF 1.6 million does not include an import player. Thus, Winterthur would have to find another solution.
Furthermore, Philippe Beeler will leave EHC Winterthur. According to Der Landbote, the 25-year-old forward has decided to end his career. Beeler joined EHC Winterthur in 2014. In two NLB seasons, he played 77 games for the Lions, putting up 35 points (12 goals, 23 assists).
