Five NLB teams have received green light from league for potential promotion

As SC Langenthal, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds, SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, EHC Olten, and EHC Visp confirm to hockeyfans.ch, the league has green-lighted their applications for a potential promotion to the NLA.

Thus, those five clubs would be able to join the NLA, if they were to win the league qualification. The applications of HC Ajoie and Martigny Red Ice, on the other hand, have been turned down due to the lack of the necessary infrastructure. Hockey Thurgau, according to the same source, has not applied for promotion.
