According to the St. Galler Tagblatt, Lars Neher will supposedly leave EHC Visp and join Hockey Thurgau for the upcoming season. Furthermore, HCT is looking for big, strong players.

Neher just finished his second season with Visp, scoring six goals and 24 assists in 52 games. The 24-year-old forward would replace Andreas Küng, who announced that he will retire from professional hockey after the 2016-17 season a while ago.

Furthermore, Thurgau is also looking for big, strong players. As the newspaper speculates, Martigny Red Ice's Fabian Brem or the EVZ Academy's David Rattaggi might be options for HCT.

In other news, the same source reveals that the club has supposedly agreed to terms with their coaching duo Stephan Mair and Benjamin Winkler for the upcoming season. Moreover, HCT is also trying to sign Janick Schwendener. He has a valid contract with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers for the 2017-18 season, but is looking for a new home.

As for their defense, Manuel Gossweiler, who played on loan from the SCL Tigers for HCT, might retire from professional hockey and will thus -in all likeliness - not be an option for them. David Wildhaber, on the other hand, will likely be signed by the team. The future of Roman Bucher, however, is still unclear. The same applies to forwards Andri Spiller, Tim Wieser, and Alain Bahar. Renato Engler will leave the club.
