The 23-year-old forward was suspended for six game for a hit to the head of Martigny Red Ice's Sami El-Assaoui in the 5th game of the playoff quarterfinal. The Ajoulots appealed the verdict, hoping to reduce the suspension to four games or less, but the SIHF sports tribunal decided to uphold the decision made by the single judge.
Frossard will thus have to sit out the remaining three games of his suspension. HC Ajoie and SC Langenthal are currently tied in their playoff semifinal series. They will face off tonight for Game 3 in Langenthal.
