The 34-year-old Canadian Himelfarb and the 19-year-old Rüegsegger have both played for SC Langenthal before. From the SCL Tigers' perspective, the two forwards have the chance to gain more ice time with the Swiss League team in the remainder of this year's pre-season.
SC Langenthal, on the other hand, is able to rest some players who are not entirely healthy, among them Jeff Campbell and Tom Gerber who are both recovering from injuries. "Everything is going according to plan," Langenthal's team manager Noël Guyaz says, "but we don't want to rush things."
