20 Minuten reported last week that he would not take part in the World Championship because he was heading over to New Jersey to get a look around the Devils' organization.

Senn has made no secret of the fact that he would like to try his luck in North America as soon as possible. Not willing to sign a long-term deal with Davos because of that, HC Davos even made the decision last September to sign Anders Lindbäck. President Gaudenz Domenig then stated that they were not willing to develop players, who would not commit to them long-term.

23-year-old Senn was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. This season, he only appeared in 20 regular season games, posting a .901 save percentage.
