With the NHL's New Jersey Devils, Nico Hischier's team mate has inked a new two-year deal after his last contract had run out at the end of the past season. The Berner Zeitung wrote that Bratt might be a candidate for the Tigers, who currently only have three imports on their roster.

Other names that have been mentioned in connection with the SCL Tigers are Bratt's team mate Jesper Boqvist or - in case he does not survive the cut in Ottawa - Erik Brännström, who played for the Tigers for the first part of the season.
