The forward took a hit to the head from Cody McLeod in the first period and did not return to the ice. As the same source writes, Bärtschi suffered a concussion. It is not yet clear, how long the 24-year-old forward will have to stay away from the rink. This season thus far, Bärtschi was able to put up 13 goals and 14 assists in 49 games for the Vancouver Canucks.
