HC Fribourg-Gottéron to participate at the 2018 Spengler Cup?

According to Marc-André Berset (RTS), rumors are swirling around in Davos that HC Fribourg-Gottéron could take part in the 92nd edition of the Spengler Cup in 2018.

Approached by RTS2, the former president of the Spengler Cup organisation committee and current strategic advisor Fredi Pargätzi, however, neither wanted to confirm or deny these rumors.

After 1992 and 2012, it would be the third time for HC Fribourg-Gottéron to participate at the Spengler Cup in Davos.
