Vey joined the Lions in January after his former KHL-team Barys Astana did not qualify for the playoffs. As shaiba writes, Vey and Moscow have already agreed on a deal.

In 14 games so far with the Lions, the 26-year-old Canadian scored twice and assisted on six goals. In 50 games with Barys in the earlier part of the season, Vey recorded 17 goals and 35 assists. He is currently out due to an upper-body injury.
