The 32-year-old forward played for Linköping HC in the SHL for the last two years and a season prior to that he suited up 18 times for EHC Kloten. At the moment, he is in contract negotiations with the Kölner Haie and there also have been reports about interest from the Eisbären Berlin (both DEL). However, as the newspaper writes, Olimb would prefer to play in Switzerland due to monetary reasons.

The Norwegian has appeared in 385 SHL-games, recording 69 goals and 188 assists. He also suited up 38 times for Jokerit Helsinki in the KHL (seven goals, eleven assists) and played one season with the AHL's Rockford IceHogs (ten goals, 22 assists). For Kloten, he scored two goals and assisted on eleven more.
