The 32-year-old defenseman played for Admiral Vladivostok this season (16 games, four points), but, as Wisniewski informs on his Twitter account, he has parted ways with the KHL team.
The American has appeared in 576 NHL games over the course of his career. Drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2002, he played for the Hawks, the Anaheim Ducks, the New York Islanders, the Montreal Canadiens, the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Carolina Hurricanes.
