Siegenthaler is injured and thus Patrick Fischer had to call up another player in order to replace him. Furthermore, the Swiss will also have to make do without forward Tristan Scherwey, who, too, is injured. Fischer will, however, not add another forward to the roster.

The roster of the Swiss team for the Slovakia Cup looks as follows:

Goaltenders (2): Luca Boltshauser (EHC Kloten), Gilles Senn (HC Davos).

Defensemen (7): Phil Baltisberger (ZSC Lions), Michael Fora (HC Ambri-Piotta), Samuel Guerra (ZSC Lions), Fabian Heldner (HC Davos), Christian Marti (ZSC Lions), Claude Paschoud (HC Davos), Dave Sutter (EHC Biel).

Forwards (12): Yannick-Lennart Albrecht (SCL Tigers), Chris Baltisberger (ZSC Lions), Luca Fazzini (HC Lugano), Yannick Herren (Lausanne HC), Fabrice Herzog (ZSC Lions), Gregory Hofmann (HC Lugano), Mauro Jörg (HC Davos), Damien Riat (Genève-Servette HC), Julian Schmutz (EHC Biel), Sven Senteler (EV Zug), Samuel Walser (HC Davos), Sandro Zangger (EV Zug).
