Adrien Plavsic is returning to Canada.

The 49-year-old Swiss-Canadian is excited about this opportunity: "I haven't worked in Canada for 16 years and I've been thinking about coming back for a few years. It is with great joy that I join the Cataracts organization. I look forward to helping the players in their technical and mental development so that they become more confident in their abilities."
Plavsic played for eleven seasons in Switzerland, from 1998 to 2012, mainly for ZSC Lions and EHC Basel. After that, he was an assistant coach or head coach at several levels of Swiss hockey. His last job was in the MySports League as head coach of HC Valais-Chablais, before being fired in January 2019.
