The 17-year-old forward has been selected 57th overall by the Erie Otters in this year's CHL import draft. According to SwissHabs, Patry will join the team for pre-season camp which starts on Thursday.
Thus far, Patry has only suited up for Genève-Servette HC's junior teams. Last season, the forward put up five goals and 24 assists in 42 games for their elite junior team. For Switzerland's U18 national team, Patry played five games at the Junior World Cup (one assist).
