Stefan Mair steps down as coach of the Italian national team

After three years as coach of the "Blue Team", the 50-year-old handed in his resignation on Friday, the newspaper Dolomiten reports. Mair leaving the national team in spite of a valid contract until 2018 seems to be due to disagreements with the Italian federation.
