This reassignment might probably only be of temporary duration, as the San Jose Sharks will be free of play tomorrow, while the Barracuda will face the Tucson Roadrunners on the road.
The 20-year-old forward has suited up in 24 games for the Sharks on NHL level this term thus far (three goals, two assist) as well as 18 games for AHL's Barracuda, in which he has put up nine goals and six assists.
