According to information obtained by Expressen-blogger Johan Svensson, Norwegian forward Mathis Olimb has agreed to terms with the SHL's Skellefteå AIK.

Two weeks ago, the Kölner Stadtanzeiger reported that the former player of EHC Kloten was in contract negotiations with the DEL's Kölner Haie. The newspaper also reported that the 32-year-old would rather return to Switzerland due to financial reasons. Now, the Norwegian apparently will stay in the SHL, where he has agreed to terms with Skellefteå.

In the past two seasons, Olimb suited up for Linköping HC in the SHL. Last season, he recorded 13 goals and 26 assists for a total of 39 points in 57 appearancec with Linköping.
