According to Aftonbladet, Linköping HC has supposedly made Tony Mårtensson a contract offer for the upcoming season. However, they are not the only team interested in the HC Lugano player.

Linköping HC's president Anders Mäki is not ready to make any comment on the issue as of now. However, Mårtensson is of course a well known commodity for the SHL team, as he played for them for five years. He would be a welcome addition to the name, as the club might lose Broc Little, Andrew Gordon, and Garret Roe all to, according to the same source, Swiss teams as of next season.

Brynäs and AIK, though, are also interested in Mårtensson. When asked about his future, the forward himself remains tight-lipped: "Right now, Lugano is in the playoffs. I want to focus on that. We will talk later about my future."

The 36-year-old forward already told Expressen in November that "this feels like the last year [I will play] abroad". He then also revealed that Spartak Moscow was interested in him, but that he was not keen on going back to Russia.
