In the past month there have been several reports that the 28-year-old has offers from the Kontinental Hockey League. Now, he confirmed in an interview with the French newspaper Le Dauphiné (relayed by SwissHabs) that he will continue his career in the KHL. "It's not going to be easy," he admits. "But you just gotta jump in at the deep end." Which team Da Costa will join is not yet known.
Over the course of the past season, Da Costa has appeared in 33 games for Genève-Servette HC, in which he scored ten goals and added 19 assists for 29 points, which makes a team-leading 0.88 points per game.
