From Lugano to the KHL – Patrik Zackrisson joins Sibir Novosibirsk

Zackrisson, 30, would have had a valid contract with the Bianconeri for the upcoming season. About two weeks ago, however, his agent Kalle Bodén confirmed to HD-Sporten that the 30-year-old Swede would not continue to play for the Bianconeri. Despite several rumors that he might join a Swedish team, Zackrisson will not return to his home country; as of next season, he will suit up for Sibir Novosibirsk.

Zackrisson joined Lugano at the beginning of the 2016-17 season and appeared in a total of 44 games for the Bianconeri, scoring 25 points (six goals and 19 assists).
