Off to Norway - EHC Olten's Curtis Gedig leaves Switzerland

As the Stavanger Oilers announce, they have signed Curtis Gedig to a one-year contract. The Canadian thus leaves Switzerland after only one season.

EHC Olten had already announced in mid-March that they would dissolve their contract with the 25-year-old defenseman. Gedig would have had a valid deal with the Mice until the end of the 2017-18 season. In 38 games for Olten, the Canadian defender had recorded eleven goals and 27 assists.
