According to the Tages-Anzeiger, the 24-year-old goaltender left the game in the 38th minute of play after he took Dino Wieser's knee to his head. He was not able to resume playing and might be dealing with a concussion. While Kloten gave an all-clear after the game, a full diagnosis is expected for today.

As for Tommi Santala, EHC Koten might be able to count again on the Finn for Sunday's cup game, the Tages-Anzeiger reports. He has been out of the lineup due to a broken jaw since the beginning of September. According to Blick, Santala's replacement Tomi Sallinen suffered a concussion in Tuesday's game against HC Lugano.
