For Friday's road game against the GCK Lions, EHC Winterthur's head coach Michel Zeiter hopes for a return of Molina, Leu, and Kobach.

Atanasio Molina has been out since the beginning of January, while Marwin Leu missed the past two games due to injury. As for Reto Kobach, who had to throw in the towel in Sunday's game against the Ticino Rockets, he might return to game action on Friday, too.

Tim Wieser, on the other hand, will probably be spared for at least for this weekend's games. The 22-year-old winger had to be stretchered off the ice in Sunday's game after he received a hit to the head from Rockets' Juri. Fortunately, he did not sustain a spinal injury and is also not suffering from a concussion.

To cushion all those injury-caused absences, EHC Winterthur can rely on defensemen Samuele Pozzorini and Yannick Waller (EHC Bülach) as well as Marco Lehmann, Adrian Wetli and as of now also Ramon Knellwolf (EHC Kloten, Elite A), who will all be at the disposal of coach Michel Zeiter via B-license.
