In an interview with SRF, HC Fribourg-Gottéron's head coach Mark French reveals that Julien Sprunger is currently considered day-to-day.

"He was on the ice today [note: Tuesday] wearing a contact jersey. [...] I think we're going to go day-by-day, we're going to see where he is, " French states. "We want to make the right decision and put him back in where he has a chance to be successful. So we'll gauge where he is tomorrow and make a read for Thursday and we'll do the same thing, if he is not ready for Thursday, for Friday."

Sprunger has been sidelined by a concussion since mid-October. He attempted a comeback in mid-December but his concussion symptoms returned and he had to take a step back once again. He has been allowed to practice again since mid-January.
