Earl missed Saturday's game due to falling awkwardly on to the ice after being hit in the game on Friday. Neuenschwander has now also been out of the lineup for almost two weeks due to an undisclosed injury. Biel's decision will thus give them time to properly recover from their respective injuries before the start of the playoffs.
