EHC Kloten's Canadian netminder Kevin Poulin is part of Team Canada's roster for the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. However, whether he will indeed take part in the tournament remains to be seen.

"It's an unfortunate story. He sustained an injury in practice and is now with the doctors of Team Canada to evaluate if Pyeongchang makes any sense at all," Kloten's coach Kevin Schläpfer tells the Tages-Anzeiger. "I hope it works out for him."

The 27-year-old, who most recently suited up for Medvescak Zagreb from the Kontinental Hockey League, joined EHC Kloten in mid-January for the remainder of the season but has yet to make his debut for the National League team.
