Swedish defenseman Jonas Junland suffered an upper-body injury. Further examinations will follow. A first estimate predicts an absence of four weeks. Valentin Borlat has fractured one of his middle fingers while blocking a shot in the first game of the Ranking Round against the SCL Tigers. He has to undergo surgery and will be sidelined for up to six weeks.

As a consequence, Lausanne HC has activated the B-license of HC La Chaux-de-Fonds' defenseman Daniel Eigenmann. The 26-year-old already participated in their training session this morning and is available for game action as soon as tomorrow, when LHC faces HC Ambrì-Piotta.
