According to Stephan Roth (Blick), Severin Blindenbacher will participate in the ZSC Lions' first on-ice practice of the season tomorrow.

The 35-year-old defender only played ten games for the Lions last season due to a severe concussion. The Neue Zürcher Zeitung also reported in June that it was not yet clear if Blindenbacher would be able to return to play his final two contracted years with the Lions.

As Roth further reports, Patrick Geering (hernia surgery), Simon Bodenmann (muscle injury), Reto Schäppi, and Robert Nilsson (concussion) will all miss the start of the Lions' on-ice training sessions.
